The TBSMC acknowledges the enduring legacy and significant contributions of the Buffalo Soldiers to the United States. In tribute to their vital role in shaping the nation, we have established the “In Deeds, Not Words” Scholarship Award.
Criteria and Purpose
This scholarship program aims to celebrate the academic achievements and exemplary character of high school graduates and first-year college students. Recipients are selected based on their embodiment of the Buffalo Soldiers’ spirit through their dedication to service in both their communities and country.

The scholarship will be awarded to 2025 high school graduates that meet requirements set forth in the scholarship application.
